Nancy Christie
Preschool Director

After years of working in accounting and finance for Unisys, Nancy stayed home to focus on raising her children. During that time she served in several positions involving child development including: PTSO, Cub Scout Den Leader, Girl Scout Leader, classroom volunteer in the public school, Sunday school and VBS. She has also served on several church committees in leadership roles. Nancy continues to pursue opportunities to learn more about early childhood education and child development and has over 80 hours of documented workshop experience.

Thea Carufel
Teacher

We were blessed the day “Miss Thea” said yes and started working here as an Aide in 2004. Thea has a Bachelors degree with a major in Recreation, has many years of volunteer service in the public school classroom as well as Sunday school classes. She works hands on with the kids and the children love her.

Julie Hagar
Teacher

Julie has a Master of Education degree from Northern Arizona University. She comes to us with many years of teaching experience with the Gilbert Public Schools. It was to our benefit that Julie had taken a sabbatical from teaching in the public school to raise her own children. We asked her to work for us, and were blessed when she said yes. Julie’s love for children is evident in her teaching as well as her interaction with them.
